I am a second-year Ph.D. student working to model lake water quality on larger spatial and temporal scales. My approach will combine existing knowledge of limnological processes with machine learning (Eco-KGML) and utilize robust analysis-ready datasets in collaboration with the Environmental Data Initiative. I am also interested in remote sensing and efforts to ground-truth such data with in situ-derived spectral properties of lakes. When I'm not at the computer or on a boat, you can find me cross-country skiing or trail running.
Graduate Student with Dr. Paul Hanson
EDI Data Curator
I received my B.A. degree not only in environmental studies, but also in studio art! I enjoy tapping in to my creative side and applying it to my scientific interests. I have worked in the mediums of drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and digital media.
